View Full Version : Downsizing!

Ok, so I'm finally off to France, and have a number of things to offload before I go. Some of this is stuff that came with the boat and I have since upgraded, and some of it is just stuff that is no longer necessary.

B&G Halcyon Gyro Processor Unit (More info here (http://www.starmarinedepot.com/B%26G+Halcyon+Gyro+Processor.html) and here (http://www.bandg.com/Products/H3000/Processors/Halcyon-Gyro-Processor/)) It's my understanding that the previous owner offloaded this when he upgraded from the ACP1 to the ACP2 and the gyro processor was no longer a necessity.

B&G ACP 1 Pilot Computer (more info here (http://www.starmarinedepot.com/B%26G+ACP+1+Pilot+Computer.html) and here (http://www.bandg.com/Products/H3000/Pilots/ACP-1-Pilot-Computer/) ) Again- it's my understanding that this is all good to go- just pulled from the boat when he got the ACP2.

I am going to have both of these bench tested in the next few days to make sure they're both working well- I'll post more info as I get it.

Life Raft It's a 4 person ProSaver- about 65 pounds I'd guess. It met the 2007 Classe Mini requirements, but isn't up to the new ISO standards- but would be great for any of the coastal racing, or Transpac or PacCup. It needs to be repacked, and is due for a new inflator valve, which Sal tells me is about a 1200 dollar operation. For that reason I'm just going to ask $500 for it. I just had to drop 3,000 on the new raft that meets the Classe requirements, so any little bit I can get towards that will go a LONG way!

Lifting Straps There was hope of rigging up a lifting sling set-up, as my boat doesn't have a single lift point. It never happened and now I'm off to France where they just use a crane with slings, so I can get rid of these. There are 2 of them, 14' each, 8,400 lbs "basket capacity" (MWL?) and I think my dad paid about 80 bucks each- If I could get $100 for both of them, I'd be psyched.

Claw Anchor Not sure why the previous owner had one of these, but it's about 10lbs- $25?

3M Orbital Sander This is one of those awesome air sanders, 6" pad. It was given to me, I've never used it, still in the box with all the bits. Here's a bunch of links to it. (http://www.google.com/products/catalog?q=3m+random+orbital+sander&oe=utf-8&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official&client=firefox-a&um=1&ie=UTF-8&cid=8000047182352850023&ei=1PgTTdaNGIfQsAOE2qiZDw&sa=X&oi=product_catalog_result&ct=image&resnum=9&ved=0CFkQ8gIwCA#) $100

I'm sure I'll be adding to this list over the next 10 days as I pack up the boat.
