Stumbled across this project earlier today, The Herreshoff Rozinante ans
was very impressed by the handwork and beauty of the work, and the simple yet elegant lines. The 28' Masthead Ketch was first built in 1952, this one by the defunct Kenner Boat Company. The project manager Mike Amory of Ashmar Boatworks in Cambridge Maryland provides a little insight on the project:

The boat is being finished up in my shop in Cambridgen Md. I stripped a Kenner built Rozinante to bare hull, cut out the floor to remove 3000lbs of lead ballast ,ground out all interior tabbing and applied two layers of biaxal cloth in epoxy. Ballast was reinserted and new floor installed.Laminated mahogany frames were installed and the rest of the house and decking are as per L Francis' plans.New sitka spruce spars.
