Queensland Cruising Yacht Club and the Southport Yacht Club
ran the Surf-to-City race Saturday March 5, 2011.
Results are online (http://www.surf2city.com.au/).

90 or so monohulls and multihulls went on the inshore course.

The monohull course record was broken by "Vivace" a Bethwaite 79er.

Maybe it was a bit windy.

- rudder explosion, Tokyo Trash Baby, i550
- broken mast, Bakers Dough, Spider 22
- broken mast, The Experiment

A few boats did the DNS route.
A few boats did the DNF route.
Good News: all boats accounted for.

The race goes by Brisbane, QLD, Australia.
I think the race course is about 40-45+nm.
