The final race in the CYC Seattle Center Sound Series is coming up Saturday and the forecast looks as good as gets for this challenging east channel race.

Class 0 has Neptune's Car 2 points in front of Flash
Class 1 has Bravo Zulu 1 point in front of Madrona
Class 2 has Banshee 3 points in front of Nefarious
Class 4 has Different Drummer 1 point in front of Tantivy which is 1 point in front of Tahlequah
Class 5 has Dos 4 points in front of Cool Beans
Class 6 has Jubilee 3 points in front of Last Tango
Class 7 is tied with Kiwi Express & Slick just two points in front of Muffin
Class 8 has a 3 way tie between Kowloon, Blue Martini & Rubicon!
Class 9 has Invader 1 point in front of Tuesday
Multi class has Trillium winning everything...

Besides Class 2 and Class 5 each of these classes is going to be highly contested - anyone want to guess who wins the series in each of these classes? Lookin to be a fun day!

Hey Ballard Sailor. what are you thinking about Class 5... Dos could submarine and or flip. We have a chance on Cool Beans to take it. Actually they have been sailing really well. It is a fast boat with good sailors. I am hoping for a windy day to see what happens. If we can have some chop going upwind we might be able to take them. We just need the breeze to be good enough to catch everyone else on the way back to the finish if that is the case.

My guesses.

Class 0 Flash
Class 1 Madrona
Class 2 Bansheee
Class 4 Tantivy
Class 5 Cool Beans of course for the day and Dos for the series.
Class 6 Jubilee
Class 7 Kiwi Express
Class 8 Blue Martini
Class 9 Invader
Multi Trillium

Been blowing 15-25 all weekend here in Atown, with occasional light rain. Headed out this afternoon for some F18 training and beers at Andersons Store on Guemes. Vive la North Salish!

I hear the Pato's Island race wasn't as lucky Ian..

Who won the series overall and is there a way to view the overall series finishes on CYC's website?

Good question, they didn't offer an overall award at the clubhouse but after a quick look I'd guess that Banshee would win that with only 9 overall points for the two races followed by Dos at 12 points. But I don't see anything CYC has put together.

Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't this the third year in a row Banshee has won CSS?

Don't know, could be...Derek and crew are good sailors so it wouldn't surprise me.

Yes a three peet for Banshee.

I'll be on the East coast for most of April so won't get to enjoy the fun - relying on you guy's and gal's for pics and stories!
