It's not a Tartan Ten, although I know of one that is probably racing to Hanalei next year.

Ronnie's new ride is a Moore 24. Three of them did the 2004 race, which started in a gale. Speaking of Moore 24's, Color Blind has done the race three times and looks to be in prime shape. I wonder if Greg is up for another run.

I guess that means Ronnie is not going after the mini route any longer?

No not yet. Got a lot of other stuff going on right now. Still going to try for Hawaii next year.

Right on Ronnie. Welcome to the Moore family. I'm sure you'll be very pleased with your shorthand ocean racer - probably even win some races with it. I'll look forward to seeing you out on the bay. Pumpkin Regatta for ya? Certainly the 3 bridge in January - it's a must do.

Let's see . . . aA sails in the Moore fleet but isn't George, George sold Cookie Jar I believe to buy Velocious (SC27) awhile back, and Cookie Jar was one of the three Moore 24's who did the windy 2004 race but raced SHTP only that one time.

What's cool about Color Blind (besides being spotless) is she has a solid, belowdecks autopilot - no wet cockpit drive units to worry about. I wish my boat was that way but I don't want to cut the rudder tube open.

Is Jim selling her?

aA

he is on the fence about her, if the right person with the right intentions and ambitions were to place an offer she'd be sold.

life w/kids is his focus nowadays
