• Day One BBS Selects

A semi breezy but mostly cloudy day, the ORR fleet was on the southern course which started on the
western side of Treasure Island. The lighting and wind were better there so remained primarily below
Alcatraz... Interesting duel between the Rogers 46's which covered each other through out the day with
Dave MacEwen's Lucky Duck maintaining a slight advantage throughout the day...

The current (ebb) really started cranking during the afternoon, and between races, there was a very long delay
as the race committee wrangled with the ground tackle and attempted to get the marks to hold...

Twas a game of try not to get run over for the Red Snapper for close to and hour while attempting to stay close
to the start area with a heavy current trying to drag it up to points north

Benard Girod's J-111 Rock and Roll won the day with 2 Bullets in ORR A

Daniel Theilman's Melges 32' Kuai Took the 1st bullet in ORR B and Dave MacEwen's Lucky Duck secured the 2nd

Scott Easom's J 100 Eight Ball and Rodney Pimentel's Cal 40' Azure Split aces in ORR C

The Express 37's saw Shawn Ivie's Limitless and Mark Chaffey/Heidi Hall's Loca Motion each claim a W in their class
