• Barging The Mark

    On the Dutch province of Friesland there lies Lake Tjeukemeer, where they race barges.
    Now the dutch barges were not made to be raced, they were made to deliver cargo through
    the shallow waters of the Netherlands.

    But most of these dutch barges are outdated for deliveries and have been converted to pleasure craft.

    One of the pleasures is racing. Again, the were not meant to race and when pushed to hard without the heavy
    loads the were meant to carry, they, well, get tipsy.

    Fortunately, the Dutch have figured out how to re-right them in a hurry with little damage except to pride.
