Sorry Kerry. Just saw your message. I know that Wild Turkey was built by Alexander Boats so I assume you're the one in the same Alexander.

The Pacific Cup was not our best race, but it was a great experience. However, Wild Turkey, now Red Cloud does very well racing on San Francisco bay. I first sailed on the boat in the early 80's and instantly took a liking to the boat. I bought the boat in 2000 after it had fell idle and was in pretty poor shape. There had been a fire below and the damage had not been properly fixed. So, I spent almost ten years refurbishing the boat, working mostly on weekends. I gutted the interior, fabricated and installed all new and bulkheads, settee berths, nav stataion etc. I also replaced about a third of the deck.

Red Cloud is a great boat and I enjoy her immensely.
