Biography:

I'm lucky enough to have been born in a sailing family and have been sailing since I can remember. Our first family boat was a Shark, followed by an O'Day Sprite, Hobie 14, Hobie 16, and an O'Day Daysailer. My father lived out his life's dream during a circumnavigation on a Downeaster 38 (1986-2000) He now has a Capri 18 in central Florida. My brother Rich used to have a Cal 25, and then got smart and started racing on other people's C&C 35s. He became an Old Goat in the Bayview-Mackinac race in 2011.

As for me, I have had two Lasers, a Catalina 27, Catalina 30, Hobie Wave and my latest boat, A CS 36 Merlin.

I casually race, daysail, and cruise out of Edmonds, in Washington State.

I can't imagine being without a boat!
