Standard storage for muddies. Pin 'em from behind with your foot so both hands are free for the tying. Loop the string over the swimming fins and then under the shell with enough length to then...

So old mate got a bigger stake to moor off and heavier lines. It still lies on the beach when the tide goes out. Then the doggies hide underneath.
