    Race to the Straits

2 weeks out and there are already 67 boats registered for the Puget Sounds biggest short handed race of the season!

30 miles up, 30 miles back and more than likely some very changing and challenging conditions. Sponsored by one of the most supportive sail lofts in the Seattle area

One of my favorites - wish we could be there! Who's in? Get registered at STYC.org

    Only 9 days away!

With the support of our generous sponsor, the half-way party in Port Townsend this year will be at the new N.W. Maritime Center right next to the Point Hudson Marina. For a nominal $25 entry fee, the party will feature free beer (courtesy of Northwest Rigging) & wine, a fabulous catered meal, the band Gertrudes Hearse, and half-way prizes for class leaders.

This is one race event not to be missed.

97 boats registered...might hit 100 with late entries.

    Skippers meeting tonight 7pm -

Ballard Sails, 6303 Seaview Ave. N.W.

In the fine tradition of the Sloop Tavern Yacht Club, beer will be plentiful...and free

Looks like some cake conditions - a new idea on double handed racing though!
