Hey Erik, fantastic images! Keeping it tight up to and around Lime Pt. was key. With the bit of south in the breeze it was less fluky than usual inside on the approach. Pretty funny seeing MADMEN in the foreground and her kite in the background leading the balance of the J-111 fleet back in from Bonita... Our buddies on Double Digit shredded their A2 (new one on order from Jeff); our new A2 had just arrived...so loaning our "old A2" was a no brainer. Consider the two Martini mystery solved.

The day provided Champagne sailing conditions with balmy temps, 10 - 17 knots of breeze and flat water.

I must say, Double Digit crushed the weather leg to the north tower, exiting the gate first, with MADMEN and 1D48 stacked up inside spitting distance from the north tower abutment...it got exciting...

Further observations from the race course forthcoming.

    Thanks Jim.

Still plodding through the edit process...

YRA 2nd 1/2 opener mixed in the middle of the Kite Foil Gold Cup + undesired vehicle crisis + dealing with insurance companies = too many distractions

Thanks for the great photos Photoboy. It was nice to meet you the other day while you were taking pics of the kite foilers. We also had a great day on the Zamazaan - fun having friends and family on board for a casual race. Greg Mullins commented he couldn't have planned better weather . Great crew work, we even peeled down under the Bay bridge for the approach to Alameda. Boat's been running well this Summer, ringing the bell four out of five of our last sails. Keeping my fingers crossed. ~Pete
