Hopefully the sound of money won't drown out the voice of wisdom in the ears of the Planning Board and City Council.
They should have played that card long ago!

I hear that the bulkhead next to the IYC has fallen in...yes? No? Is there any danger to the club building?

I ask because if it's true, it's pretty clearly a violation of the Tidelands Lease, and Pacific Shops is going to take serious heat for it. Seeing as Bill Poland is now the majority shareholder in Pacific Shops, well.....

I dunno... I got CC'd on an e-mail that says it collapsed, but I have no clue what that really means.

My buddy has his office above the 200-dock at Alameda Marina. He just went and looked. Says the bulkhead seems fine at the IYC.

Looks like some subsidence of the earth under the asphalt in front of 400-dock (IYC is above the 300-dock.) Couple of low spots covered with steel plates. Bulkhead appears intact.
