Barefoot Raid....small, prettier countryside than the Texas 200 without the edge of crazy of the R2AK. I might have to keep this one in the sights for next year or 2020.

I've thought that a Holder 20 would make a nifty modern RAID boat. They're light enough to trailer really easily. The cockpit seat sides are parallel, so you can set up a sliding seat rowing gizmo that rolls on them. You just have to figure out how to deal with the traveler. The boat isn't so wide that it's next to impossible to row, especially if you pull the keel up. And they sail pretty well. There's enough room down below to sleep one or two folks out of the weather. You can set up a camp stove, carry 6-8 gallons of water and so on. The lifting keel means you can practically get up on the beach at night.

Just don't broach with the kite up.
