    Sharks, Ships And Sheer Terror

Adventure long distance rower Lia Ditton departed San Francisco Bay a week ago in her attempt to set a new record
for the 2,200+ mile crossing to Honolulu. Her voyage has already been fraught with danger, the latest being
a large shark that seems attracted to her boat, her or maybe just wants some snacks...

Below are some excerpt from her voyage thus far!

ITS OFFICIAL: The San Francisco-Hawaii record attempt is on. Lia departed at 23:00 PDT on 17th June to challenge the all-time record of 52 days set by Rob Eustace, or Roz Savage’s women’s record of 99 days. Follow her progress at rowliarow.com
