  1. July Cruise Day 21

    July PNW Cruise Day 21
Oak Harbor - Coupville for Lunch - Oak Harbor

Allison Trunkey took the wheel and we went out sailing with friends. The forecast for today was grey skies and southerly breeze building to a possible gale out of the west. Not the best day for a pleasure sail with friends in Penn Cove but we figured we’d poke our heads out of the bay, grab our crab pot we had set ...

  2. July Cruise Day 20

    July PNW Cruise Day 20
Cypress Island through Deception Pass to Oak Harbor

The morning dawned sunny in our little harbor but looking towards the east end of the island we could see that the fog was pushing in once again from the Straits. July Cruise Day 17
    Sucia Island to Clarke Island

July 18th dawned to wind and sunny, well mostly sunny, skies. As we sailed away from Sucia Island heading south towards Clarke Island we where treated with this great view of Sucia Island and can easily tell why they call them the Finger Islands that create all the bay’s at Sucia.
