  2. Now for some Boat Shopping

    Sunday over, people back to work and school, it was time to get going on the other reason we’ve come to the East Coast - find a sailboat and go cruising for 5 or 6 months. Our plan is to find a smaller sailboat that is listed at under $10,000.   3. We made it across the country!


    8 days after leaving cold, rainy & snowy Seattle we arrived at Brad and Shannon’s house safe and sound, the Van made it!   4. Back on the Road, Boulder to Cincinnati

    As if the weather gods were telling us to get back on the road we awoke Wednesday to 25 degrees and ice pellets heckling us to follow the heat East and get out of Colorado. Skipping the worlds Largest Cream Can in Denver we continued East out I-70 to our 3 “World’s Largest Items” we’ll find along the way in Kansas.   5. Day 4 in Boulder, Colorado



    
Amazing, absolutely A’mazing day in Boulder Colorado. The entire town was out and happy Tuesday for the first sunny warm day of the year after 2 weeks of cold windy weather. We searched our bags for the shorts and flips we had packed below our winter clothes and set out for a day of hiking followed by the best happy hour in Boulder - 3pm to close.
