So, what are the odds of the new guy whooping his trainer? I think they're high.

    Wind forecast
The start's going to suck with shifty 4-12 knots WSW
Vellajo will be at 10-15 all day WSW
Antioch is only going to be at 15 all day out of the W
    Stockton 2PM 10 knots 6PM 12 knots WNW

Its going to be a long one for the slow boats. But then gain it always is. The faster you go the shorter the distance.

Anyone need a chase boat driver or hand?

You have to factor in that the slow boats can deploy the reverse sea anchor and ride the 2.4 knot flood until the wind fills in behind them.

The low raters, now all asleep after a full day of adult beverage filtering will miss the initial indicators and will simply watch in horror as the slow boats creep up and past them and onto corrected pickle dish victory!

Predict Wind showing things looking a bit better across San Pablo and Suisun with higher end of 15-20 by 3:00 PM.

Stockton a bit harder to resolve but nice winds 6:00 PM till party time!

Nevermind the weak wind forecasts projected by the NWS, the 2015 Ditch Run was one of big breeze, big crashes, great adrenaline rushes, close calls and a sense of togetherness...
